With a whirlwind of instrumental styles fusing classical, rock, blues, jazz, country, as well as the quintessential California musical genre...surf music, the California Guitar Trio's stunning virtuosity and sly sense of humor have earned a rabid following. Worldwide, wildly enthusiastic crowds have responded with standing ovations during CGT's sold-out concerts as headliners and on tour with King Crimson and John McLaughin.

All this tumult has been earned by three guys armed with only acoustic guitars. Since its inception in 1991, the once Los Angeles based trio now claims three continents. Bert Lams hails from Brussels Belgium, currently living in the U.K.; Hideyo Moriya resides in his Tokyo, Japan hometown; and Paul Richards, a native of Salt Lake City, Utah.
