Cabaret Verdalet presents its sixth annual celebration of burlesque, jazz/cabaret music and circus/variety arts in a grand Art Deco theme revue. This three hour stage show spectacular features an ensemble cast of outstanding artists from the Bay Area and special guest talent from across the country. As always, Verdalet showcases exceptional dancers, elegant and glamorous costumes, creative choreography, mesmerizing variety acts and vintage virtuoso vocalists with hot jazz combo The Cottontails playing throughout the night. Verdalet continues a fine tradition of live entertainment drawn from the days of the early American nightclubs, classic European music hall revues, vaudeville, burlesque houses and, of course, the intimate cabarets still found around the world today. But at Verdalet we're not just recreating history - we're making it our own. Featured guest performers include international burlesque star Dirty Martini from New York (Miss Exotic World 2004), acrobatic duo Gravity Plays Favorites from St. Louis, Venus De Mille from Los Angeles (Legend in the Making, Exotic World 2005), Kalani Kokonuts from Las Vegas (First Runner-up, Exotic World 2006), Delirium Tremens from New York and Vienna La Rouge from Seattle (Most Classic Performer, Exotic World 2006). These lovely ladies have received ovations and choice time slots at national events such as The New York Burlesque Festival, The Miss Exotic World Pageant and Tease-O-Rama. Rarely are so many singular talents brought together on a single stage. For long- time fans and newcomers alike, it's a night like no other. In keeping with the spirit of the event, vintage and flashy attire are encouraged, but all are welcome at the cabaret.
