School of Rock

The Paul Green School of Rock will present its first San Francisco Benefit Concert at Great American Music Hall on July 22nd.

Kurtis Matthews, CEO of the Comedy College, will be event emcee. Kids from the San Francisco School of Rock will open the show with their best of the season, including Grateful Dead and Southern Rock.

A raffle and silent auction at the Benefit Concert will offer cool, rock-related items, including an autographed Fender electric guitar signed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, donated by STARMARKS.NET and a ‘Live Like A Rock Star’ package that includes a stay in the Extreme Wow Suite at W San Francisco.

98.5KFOX is presenting sponsor. Other sponsors include yelp, STARMARKS.NET, the ONION, TRES AGAVES, A.V. Club and W San Francisco.

The Benefit Concert is hosted by the "Rachel Sager Arts Foundation" to benefit Bay Area youth music programs. Proceeds will help fund School of Rock scholarships, special tours and other youth music programs.
