LOCAL FAVORITES VINYL CELEBRATE THE BANDS 1000TH SHOW TOGETHER WITH TWO NIGHTS OF FRIENDS AND MUSIC

Bernie Worrell, Rob Wasserman, Sugar Pie Desanto, Terry Haggerty and other special guests will join Vinyl on stage for a jam session not to miss

Vinyl has been touring the US, playing great music at clubs and large festivals for seven years now and along the way they have made some amazing friends. To celebrate the friends and family who have supported Vinyl over the years, the band will record a live album during these shows. Both nights will include an amazing line up of special guests who have played with them over years!
Vinyl is truly a Northern California original and their sound is ever progressing yet standing the test of time. Organ player Jonathon Korty says, "What started out as old friends coming together in a Mill Valley garage to jam and have fun, has turned into a fulltime gig that has been an amazing ride so far. We have gotten to play with our heroes and make great friends across the country. The support has been incredible."

The musical guests include:

The one and only Bernie Worrell, the original keyboardist and songwriter for Parliament/Funkadelic, who has played with Vinyl at multiple live shows and on their most recent album "Flea Market."

Virtuoso Bay Area bass player Rob Wasserman of Ratdog became a friend of Vinyl after playing together in the world famous town of Stinson Beach. Rob will join the band for both nights.

Local legend and blues diva, Sugar Pie Desanto, has the fever for Vinyl and promises to bust out classic tunes like "In The Basement" with Vinyl’s expert backing.

Singer songwriter Jethro Jeremiah will lend his guitar and soulful vocals to Vinyl’s roots reggae.

San Diego trombone master Andy Geib (Wise Monkey Orchestra, Damn Dirty Apes) will sit in with the Vinyl horns both nights.

The super talented Samantha Stollenwerk from Shady Lady will open Friday’s show with an acoustic set of her outstanding funky blues rock and join Vinyl for a rendition of a classic tune that will make you feel good!

Aurea from Nobody from Ipanema and guitar power house Aram Danesh will open Saturdays show with some classic Brazilian music backed Antonio Onorato and Friends of Nobody.
